Frederick L. Altice, M.D. Scheduled for World AIDS Day

Frederick  L. Altice, M.D., Professor of Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, will be  the Keynote Speaker for the World AIDS Day event this Saturday, December 1st. Working together for an AIDS-free generation - we join in commemorating the lives of those we have lost and celebrate the lives of the living. The commemoration will also include music performed by The Greater New Haven Community Chorus Chamber Choir.

Join us on December 1st at the Golden Center in New Haven, 268 Park Street.

Liberty Sunday Brunch Kick-Off!

Liberty Community Services is celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend by opening our Sunday Brunch Program, serving those experiencing homelessness in New Haven. Thank you to Liberty donors, staff, and Sweet Relief Catering, for making this happen!

Liberty Receives the Everybody Wins Prize During the Great Give 2012

Friday, November 2, 2012, The Community Foundation of Greater New Haven hosted a celebration for all the Prize winners during the Great Give 2012 Campaign. Liberty won the "Everybody Wins Prize", awarded to us for having over 50 individual donors donating $50 or more. In addition to the funds we raised during the campaign, the Prize awarded Liberty an additional $2,140. John Bradley, Liberty Executive Director, John Wilkinson, Liberty Board Member, and Erin Laskey, Liberty Administrative and Communications Assistant attended the celebration at The Community Foundation. We are so thankful to all of our donors who participated during the Great Give 2012 campaign and to The Community Foundation for organizing the campaign, and raising local non-profit agency awareness in the New Haven community. Thank You!
